Maritime Soccer League 2022
The 6-a-Side Corporate Maritime Soccer League (MSL) is one of the most exciting and entertaining events in the annual TNC events calendar. MSL started in the year 2019 with Season 1 and successfully completed Season 3 in 2022 (having missed a season due to the covind-19 lockdown). Over 35 teams from various sectors of the shipping industry compete against each other in a single day of football played on an enclosed turf
Organized by The Naval Connection, the MSL is played generally in the first week of February each year in Mumbai. However, as an exception, Season 3 was played in April 2022 under floodlights. Hundreds of seafarers, maritime shore-based personnel, and their families visit the venue each year to cheer their teams amidst music & dance. The atmosphere at the ground turns electric as the finals are played. MSL is the one and only maritime soccer league to be played in India and has, over the years, become a huge brand. Teams from all over India look forward to participating in the league and winning the prestigious MSL Championship trophies
Each year MSL dedicates a part of the proceeds towards charity. As a commitment to the social upliftment of women and children, MSL is proud to be associated with various NGO’s and conducts donation drives at the venue where people freely donate education and study materials, laptops, etc which are further distributed to the less privileged children and rural schools.

The Maritime Soccer League (MSL) is one of the most exciting on-ground events of the maritime industry.
Organized by The Naval Connection, over the years the MSL brand has earned its name in the entertainment arena where maritime companies participate in prestigious single day 6-a-Side soccer tournaments. The last 3 editions of the MSL (2019, 2020, and 2022) saw all major shipping companies and maritime training institutes in Mumbai participating for the championship
Power of Influence (POI), is a networking cocktail dinner where Maritime’s most influential leaders and change-makers bond and network over an evening of fine wine and dinner coupled with the most cogent leadership talks.
Mind Over Water (MOW)
Authored by Capt. Shoukat Mukherjee, Mind Over Water is the maritime industry’s first book on leadership development and teambuilding. It was launched at a glittering event in Mumbai in 2017 and has become a best seller with over 75 companies placing the book on board their company vessels. MOW has added value to thousands of seafarers who have benefitted from the theories explained in the book relating to team building on ships and shore. Capt.
